Apple Worldwide Developers Conference to kick off June 5 2023

Keynote Address to introduce Apple Vision Pro, 15-inch MacBook Air, Mac Studio, Mac Pro

Event to be held in an online format

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple today announced it will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in an online format from June 5 to 9, 2023. The event will kick off with a keynote address on Monday, June 5 at 10 a.m. PDT, which will be streamed live on the Apple website, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and YouTube.

At WWDC23, Apple will unveil the latest updates to its software platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The company is also expected to introduce new hardware products, such as a new 15-inch MacBook Air, a Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips, and a new Mac Pro.

Apple shares climbed to a record intra-day level on Monday after the company unveiled a new lineup of products, including the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch Series 8. However, the stock fell short of closing at an all-time high, as investors took profits after the initial rally.

Despite the recent pullback, Apple shares are still up more than 20% year-to-date, outperforming the broader market. The company is expected to continue to benefit from strong demand for its products, as well as its growing services business.
