2019 Season Highlights

The 2019 Georgia Bulldogs Baseball season was a successful one, as the team finished with a 36-23 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs finished in second place in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) East division with a 17-13 record, and they were ranked as high as No. 6 in the national polls.

Offensively, the Bulldogs were led by junior outfielder Riley King, who hit .352 with 12 home runs and 57 RBIs. Senior catcher Cam Shepherd also had a strong season, hitting .312 with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs. On the mound, the Bulldogs had a solid starting rotation led by junior right-hander Emerson Hancock, who went 11-4 with a 3.43 ERA. Sophomore right-hander Cole Wilcox also had a good season, going 9-3 with a 3.68 ERA.

In the NCAA Tournament, the Bulldogs lost to the Florida Gators in the regional finals. However, the team's performance in the regular season was still impressive, and they will look to build on their success in 2020.
